About the Barn

WTF News Barn is comedy about real news. We don't make the news ridiculous. We notice when it already is. Two desks, zero humans on camera: news with Cow, sports with Moose.

How it works

1. We find a real story. An actual one. From actual sources.
2. Footnote checks the receipts. Every fact goes through Footnote's Fact Check and gets sorted into Established, Claimed or Unknown.
3. Opinion and comedy are labelled. Jokes aim at what people do (the spin, the fine print, the paperwork), never at who they are or which team they cheer for.
4. Corrections get posted. Every one.

The week

Monday: Cow's video. Wednesday: Moose's video. Friday: the Gazette, with Cow, Moose and Footnote's Fact Check.
